Pushcart Prize nominee Len Lawson brings a reading from his new book, Chime, to Piccolo 2019. The author of chapbook Before the Night Wakes You, and co-editor of Hand in Hane: Poets Respond to Race, focuses on contemporary verse that’s been described as visceral, intense, and vivid, while tackling tough issues that affect the country today.
