About Brownie Harris Retrospective 1970-2020:

Acclaimed photographer Brownie Harris unveils Brownie Harris Retrospective 1970–2020, a breathtaking 50-year collection of his most iconic images. Spanning five decades, this first-of-its-kind retrospective highlights Harris’s masterful ability to capture both cultural icons and everyday people with striking depth and artistry. From John F. Kennedy Jr., Andy Warhol, and Carly Simon to factory workers, corporate leaders, and Hollywood legends, his portraits transcend time, revealing the power of human connection through expert lighting and composition. “Since I began my photography career in 1970, I have been fortunate to travel the world photographing some of the world’s most influential people and events. Recently, I discovered a photograph when I was starting my career in 1970. A friend of mine saw a connection with another photo I had taken 50 years later, and coincidentally, a couple blocks away from the first. These two photos inspired the creation of this book. I hope you enjoy it.” Accompanied by personal reflections, behind-the-scenes stories, and a deep dive into his creative process, this book is an essential collector’s piece for photography enthusiasts, art lovers, and history buffs alike.
