September 2023 is Barbara Kingsolver Month at Buxton Books!

We are always working to help bring the very best authors to town!

When we heard Barbara Kingsolver’s publisher is running a contest with the prize of hosting Barbara for the ONE and ONLY author event celebrating the paperback release of Demon Copperhead, we were in! Let’s do this, Charleston!

For the contest, the bookstore that sells the most copies of Demon Copperhead during the month of September will get to host Barbara for an EXCLUSIVE author event! Purchase a copy of the book from Buxton Books between Sept. 1 and Sept. 30 to help us - and you - win a visit from literary legend and winner of the 2023 Pulitzer Prize in Fiction, Barbara Kingsolver!

Throughout the month of September, when you purchase a copy of Demon Copperhead, you will be invited to participate in the Buxton Books Book Club event on Sept. 28 in the bookstore. We are eager to talk about the book together! You will also have first access to VIP tickets and seating when (we are manifesting!) Barbara Kingsolver comes to town!
