Come support bookstore owner Polly Buxton as she presents in PechaKucha 42 on May 3 at Charleston Music Hall! This is a ticketed event. Please click here for tickets and more information!
Anyone who has been to a Buxton Books event has heard bookstore owner Polly Buxton talk about the ecosystem of books. It’s her beautiful welcoming speech about books, connection, and how each of us play a role in cultivating our literary community.
Well, we are proud to announce she’s taking that show (primped and polished and now with photos, of course) on the road to Charleston Music Hall for Pecha Kucha 42!
PechaKucha has become a Charleston institution after all these years, and we are so proud Polly will be presenting along with so many other amazing artists/creators/business owners/philanthropists from the Charleston community.
If you don’t know what PechaKucha is, it’s a presentation format where each presenter is given 20 slides (images only), with only 20 seconds to talk about each slide, for a total talk time of 6 minutes and 40 seconds. It’s fun, fast, engaging, and results in some powerful talks!
