Buxton Books is proud to host Chris Singleton for an in-store signing to celebrate the release of his new book Baseball Around the World.
We tend to think of baseball as a quintessentially American sport, but in his new book, Baseball Around the World, Chris Singleton takes us on a trip to ballparks around the globe! As a former professional baseball player, Chris knows his way around a baseball diamond. But, perhaps more importantly, in his new role as an inspirational speaker, he spends his days talking about unity and encouraging us to celebrate the beauty of our differences. Baseball Around the World is a true marriage of interests - celebrating the unique mark each culture has made on this sport that is more universal than you may have once thought.
Young baseball fans will love the colorful artwork and baseball fun facts, but it’s not just for kids – anyone can find something to enjoy and learn in these pages! Don’t take it from us though. On Sunday, July 10 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm, Chris will be in the store answering all our baseball questions, taking pictures, signing books, and giving us an insight into what baseball as a global sport means to him!
This is a free, in-store signing! Please email rsvp@buxtonbooks.com to reserve your spot.
