Join us as we celebrate Grady Hendrix’s new novel, The Southern Book Clubs Guide to Slaying Vampires, on the eve of its publication date!

Grady will be speaking about his new title, the inspiration behind his books, and reading a short excerpt at the historic and newly renovated Charleston Library Society. A haunting, hair-raising, and ultimately heartwarming story set in the 1990s, The Southern Book Clubs Guide to Slaying Vampires follows a women’s true-crime book club that takes it upon themselves to protect their community when they detect a monster in their midst.

VIP ticket holders will be invited to walk through the historic Charleston Gateway Walk to the 1772 Unitarian Church Gage Hall to meet Grady and get their books personalized. We will toast to Grady and the ladies that inspired his southern book club.
