In partnership with the College of Charleston’s School of Languages, Cultures and World Affairs, CLS will host a post-lecture reception with best-selling author and historian Nathaniel Philbrick. His presentation at the College will cover In the Hurricane’s Eye: The Genius of George Washington and the Victory at Yorktown at 6:00pm. To give people a chance to meet afterwards, the Library Society will co-host the reception and celebration taking place at 7:00pm. Take an opportunity to ask questions and share a glass of wine with this talented literary giant.
