Join us for the second installment of Art Talks with artist Charles DeAntonio!
This second in this series of talks will focus on the search for beauty and the artist's gesture of fellowship. Below is a note from Charles and his plans for this fascinating lecture:
"In the first talk we discussed how beauty touches on things we all share—things fundamental to our human nature. In the second of this series we discuss art: why artists pursue beauty, why they are driven to create art, and how exhibiting or sharing works of art can connect people from diverse backgrounds. Art—the making of it and the sharing of it—then becomes a powerful way to create a greater human fellowship in a divided world."
This event is free and all are welcome to attend. We hope to see you there!
