About the novel: Friday Calls is based on true crime events that take place in the Southern town of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It explores the relationship between the old country club society and the rougher parts of town. All the players are entwined, a basket of snakes and innocents that are penned into embracing one another. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
The event is free to attend.
