Marjorie Spruill to speak at Charleston Museum

  • The Charleston Museum 360 Meeting Street Charleston, SC, 29403 United States (map)

The Fourth Annual Princeton Community forum presents Marjorie Spruill.

Dr Spruill's first book was New Women of the New South: The Leaders of the Woman Suffrage Movement in the Southern States. She has a particular interest in the intersection of ideas about gender and politics. On April 4, she will speak about her most recent book Divided We Stand. The Battle Over Women's Rights and Family Values That Polarized American Politics.

The lecture, open to the public, will be preceded by a Meet and Greet, with refreshments and book sale and signing.
