Join us for the afternoon on January 13th, to celebrate local author, Miki Bennett and welcome her to the shelves of Buxton Books!
Inspired by a passion for wholesome adventure, Miki Bennett is the author of two contemporary women’s fiction series: The Florida Keys Novels and Camping in High Heels. A love affair with the beach and lifelong experiences with camping led her to write romance novels that bring humor and paradise to readers’ fingertips. Her stories touch the hearts of all who read them.
Miki’s artistry was born from a deeply personal place. She lives with a rare, invisible illness called Mastocytosis, which causes life-threatening allergic reactions to the simplest of things. She is also a cancer survivor.
Miki will sign books and give a short talk about the impact her illness has had on her journey to becoming an author.
This event is free & open to the public! Hot cider and nibbles will be provided.
Miki will begin speaking at 3:30 PM.
